Grace Youth Ambassador Sport Activities

Part of yearly activities in our church specifically to the youth is sport. After almost two months of preparation including printing and buying individual shirt we successfully have gone thru bowling tournament at Ulta Bowl with a total of twenty one youth in our church of La libertad and fourteen at church of tulalian. As I observed in the individual game most of theme are first timer some are they don't know how to play and how to score but most importanly all of theme are enjoyed. After the game we go to our house for snack, same as usual everytime we have sport activities for the second time rain goes on.

2009 sports kickoff

February 21, 2009 the date where we officially open the sports activity year 2009. We have lots of prepared series of games that could gives fun to the attenders kaibigan. The games are sack race compose of 3 persons per sack 5 groups, Chackad 5 persons each 3 groups, karang 3 persons, latay latay 3 persons, basketball shooting 3 persons then last the rubiks cube. We have also a special games I don't know the name of particular game(dodge ball) the mechanics is that if you hit by the ball you are automatically out in the last person who remain will be the winner. Our Theme " Sa panaghinigalay, bukog ug unod, mapabaskog gayod" Our emcees Charlo and Magno, Opening Remarks by Sir Rodger Velasco and Closing by Sir Art Milan.

Tagum Thankgiving Day Celebration

Tired and enjoying moments in my life today. I have many plans before it was all happens but the Lord's plan will prevail. First I'am tired because I'am the driver of ELF and at the same time playing basketball, thanks be to God we won the first prize.

We meet a lots of Christian friends new and old, and also I eat a lot hehehe because after the basketball we have another salo salo.

The invited Guest speaker was Pastor Dionesio Antoniano the host pastor of La libertad Church.

Emotional gifts that i recieved

Before our Christmas Day and Thanks Giving Day of our church me and My family are very busy preparing buying gifts and our own gifts as well, the result I cannot write again on this blogs anymore What I have now is to share my experience.

As I said before that Christmas is a time of giving and receiving. I received a gifts from the youth for me its emotional. To tell you they gave me a book and a Christmas Card with thoughts and thanks with encouraging word. For over one year I have been lecturing to the young people every Sunday though I'am not a pastor I never trained, but God gave me a passion to share the Good News.

One of my unforgetable moments during Christmas is that we have a ever first Family Bonding with open forums. Just happened after 12:01 a.m. of January 1, 2008. We usually have a prayer and sharing word of God by my father's but this time we have an open forums that everyone in the family has the opportunities to tell good or bad from our parents or even his brother or her sister. Luckyly the result was much good because our forums are very informative in frankly hehehe.


During our Thanks Giving Day our invited guest speaker was pastor Undo Malnegro. We have a lot of pakals 4 big pig was "tumba" after our lunch we have a friendly basketball game with prizes. We have lots of visitors from Tagum Church in our barangay.

End of the Badminton Tournament

Today we end our badminton tournament though lots of the teams are not attended but there are some sport minded person who response. The champion goes to the green team, second no other than the black team, the third was the blue team, fourth goes to white team. After the distribution of the awards the players planning to have a dinner.

Second Company Badminton

Today after our work at 5:00 p.m. our branch got a chance to play badminton for free with meals. But sad to say its frustrated in my part, I prepared all that needed the budget, and I emailed ahead so that everyone will know but this morning as I confirmed to the team almost of them are not available. So instead we have already fixed game but we cannot pursue it, we only play everyone that who wants to play.

Sport Planning Session

Funny and successful sport planning session that we had done today. Funny in the sence that the Master of Ceremony was lead by Jopoy Natividad. And successful because we had a lots of ideas that they are shared. The word of the day " Think out of the box ".

A whole day planning session held at Garden Oesis with free heavy snack, lunch and lots of "sitseria".

The purpose of this planning session is to prepare for next sport activities, this coming year 2009.

We have four newly members of Dalight sportcom, which can replaced to the vacant slots. In
as the meeting goes on there are many changes of the proposed program activities compared to previous. This time I'am in the sober tooth yellow team.

Badminton Sports on Panabo

Again Our sports theme in Davao Light Panabo branch is Paugnat sa Kusog. compose of four teams
its has different color with combinations of two or one hottest girl.

Me my color is black team my team mate one of our AVP Arnold Arsolon. Last year game we won a champion, but if you ask me the standing of our team now weww we are on the last.

The chairman of the badminton lead by Yancy Lumiguid. we play twice a week tuesday and thursday but during thursday I'm not available beacause I'am committed in Toastmaster Club.

Fighting to Championship

weewww! very discouraging day we did our very best to win the game but it didn't happen specially to me who lacks of confidence and full of negative thinking thats why I'am in internet right now searching a free books how to be confidence, every time I make i move to shot the ball in it didn't I'a discourage why why?

During the first half of the game we did the best move but it sudden have a low score due to the 3 points shot of my oponents until the last half.

I know God has purpose of everything why we lost the game, before the game start God has already a result.

At the end of the game we are so very low see have a self pity.

Its my prayer that God the creator of everything the author and finisher of my faith gives me the confidence not the basketball itself but for my day to day activities specially in serving to him.
